Traditional methods of BI such as OLAP and preliminary data analysis yielded significant benefits in terms of efficiencies to the business over the years. Application of BI and Analytics to the realm of public domain is fascinating and could yield even more benefits if applied in the delivery of services that affect our lives. It gets more complex when applied in public domain such as urbanization, which has conflicting goals, multiple stakeholders and enormous undertakings. Studying complex systems provides an opportunity to explore application of various quantitative techniques that existed for a long time, mostly confined to academics.
With the maturity of information leverage and evidence based approaches in decision making, there is a constant pursuit to apply innovative techniques, methods and frameworks that results in better business outcomes. Upcoming TDWI Chapter event in Bangalore

Close on the heels of a successful event in Hyderabad, TDWI takes its campain to the heart of Indian silicon valley, Bangaluru.
